I began practicing yoga in 2003, after suffering a sternum injury in a serious car crash. This injury brought my active lifestyle to a halt. Moving and breathing was challenging at first. Being physically active and athletic most of my life, it was a real challenge not being able to return to my regular activities (gym, swimming, cycling...). Then, someone suggested I try yoga to get my body slowly moving and healing. I did. Within 2-3 months I felt like new. I was moving and breathing well, and felt strong. It was the best therapy for me & my body.I have been practicing yoga ever since. At 42, I feel strong, fit and healthy.

I became a yoga teacher (RYT-200 certified) at the end of May 2011. Shannon Hansen, Marion Stone, Michael Johnson, Joe Taft, Kimberley Puryear and Stephanie Keach (founder of the Asheville Yoga Ctr) were my teachers.

I am fluent in both French and English and conversational in Arabic (Lebanese).
